TWO PART SERIES examining the physical and psychological elements of personal resilience. Learn the science of how our beliefs and behaviors intersect to strengthen our resilience. And which evidence-based methods can improve our development.

Psychological Foundations

Understand the underpinning of our psychological make-up that contribute to resilience - mindfulness, self-efficacy, agency, and willpower.

Relax & Renew Women's Retreat

Sept 6 - 8, at Salamander Camp, Santa Clara County, CA

Relax and rejuvenate at a special weekend retreat in the Santa Cruz Mountains

A weekend retreat to connect with your deeper self, enjoy the serenity of nature, and cultivate resilience skills to help you meet the world on your terms.  


What to expect: Morning movement class, mid-day workshop on resilience skills, catered nourishing meals, afternoon nature walks, evening bonfire and hot tubbing. 


Workshop focus: Explore the characteristics of resilience, examine current beliefs and behaviors, how these factor into your patterns, learn about tools and practices to cultivate and support resilience in your life. Create a personal plan to implement after the weekend. 


Movement classes based loosely around Pilates mat exercises, yoga postures and flow, mobility exercises, breath work, and meditation.  


Salamander Camp is a private retreat featuring three large yurts for dining, sleeping, and meeting. A shower house, clean and sanitary outhouses, hot tub, current pool, and large deck with gorgeous views.  The surrounding property offers hiking and a very special opportunity for a meditative walk within a Cretan Labyrinth.
